[gurps] How has 4th Edition changed your game?

I can't say much comparing to 3e, because I couldn't get anyone to PLAY 3e.

Fourth edition was the magic needed to get them all to switch from 
D&D/WoD for the most part. One of my players/fellow GMs has become a 
GURPS fanatic. The system agnostic folks now acknowledge that it's good 
for stuff, and even the GM most fond of rules-lite improvisational play 
still likes GURPS for "the right types of games".
