[gurps] A slightly different spell question

I am considering taking the link spell and the evisceration spell in a 
Gurps campaign.  Reading link it allows Melee spells to be linked, but at 
a -5 is the target is not present when cast.  So for these two spells who 
is the target?  The eviscerate spell is a melee spell that charges the 
caster's hand to deliver a spell.  So if this were linked to the caster 
would the -5 apply?  Or by linking the spell to the caster would the 
caster receive the potential evisceration? 

Also, would it be possible to use the like to bestow the melee spell to 
another user (other than the caster) to touch a target and finish the 
spell.  I.E can I cast it so other party members can eviscerate the bad 
guys?
