There are some stats for the Bensen X-25A on

The listed takeoff speed and weight would indicate a lift 
area of 172 sf if the rules in VXii apply. Wing and rotor
areas in Vehicles are for the top and bottom, but the 
rotor is nowhwere near 86 sf, either. Eyeballing the pic, 
I would say the lift area for rotors needs to be 5 times 
the actual area. 

Of course rotor areas in Vehicles are highly artificial 
anyway. They're more a combined-materials-requirement 
figure ...
