Fortify and Armor seem to be your best bet, unless there is something in
4e rules about explosions that would negate them. I do not have 4e Magic
in hand, flipping though pdf's blows.
Turning the other spells into a blocking spell with Reflex maybe what
you are looking for except it counts as a "spell on".
