  This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the 
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial

Compact Front Loader v1.0 (TL11)

  The Compact Front Loader is used for the initial starport construction 
on habitable planets. It fits into small shuttlecraft, and it is powered 
by an isotope battery which lasts for years. Sensors and communications 
are easily interchangeable modules, and easy to do without if there are 
no spares available. Under standard gravity, the bucket can scoop 360 kg 
of earth or rocks.

Subassemblies: Articulated Body +2, four Off-Road Wheels -1. 
Powertrain: 25-kW all-wheel drivetrain; 25-kW RTG.
Occ: CCS.

hitch.

Design Notes
  Body is 40 cf. Wheels are 10 cf (increased volume). Structure is 
heavy and standard. Armor is standard metal (open frame for body). 
Mechanical controls. 9.66 cf of empty space. Empty weight is 1,800 
lbs. 
  The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third 
printing, Dec 2004 errata], VXi and VXii (the armor volume rule) with 
the text format from Vehicles Lite.
