[gurps] Golem volume

I was looking at the golem listings in MI3 and noticed that some of the 
golems do not have a *weight* in materials listed, but a material cost 
*INSTEAD*!!

What is the volume of a 5foot 9inch man(said to be typical golem height)? 
How different is a 6ft man? And then what are the densitys of the materials 
listed for making golems?   I'm finally interested in mass and possibly 
cost.

Another question about the Golem enchantment:  If you are doing it quick and 
dirty, why would it take weeks?  The "Shape" spells would last only a minute 
(or however much you need for artistic satisfaction), then the QD 
enchantment takes 1hour/100FP.   Thus an iron golem would take only 8 hours 
to enchant! (If you had an 800FP manastone.)
