You can try having your zombies pushing carts, but why re-invent the wheel?
In the thousands of years of carts being propelled by dumb animals, it
was determined early on that having the beasts uf burden in front of
the cart has many advantages over having them at the rear.
Just a few I can think of involve:
1) lower structural integrity requirements for the cart
2) you can look in the direction you are going while
steering/directing the beasts of burden
3) the beasts of burden can use inbuilt obstacle avoidance routines to
help guide the cart
4) less wear and tear on the fore-most portions of the beast of
burden(not all zombies have hands)
Just because we have zombies does not mean that we should ignore the
lessons learned through centuries of cart usage.
After all, if you put friken lasers on the heads of the lead zombies,
you would not want them burning holes in your cart.
