Supernatural or just beyond the normals of nature? Aliens from
Alien vs Predator, or aliens that seem supernatural but are just
energy or what?
But then the feel is more the bent, not the beasts and all?

I always wanted to try a scenario based on "Event Horizon"...
Okay, "try" is a strong word, I'd like to "watch" another group
"try" that scenario. 8-O
;)
One thing that I'd like to try in my science fiction games is
the postulation that some things are unexplainable to modern
(game) science, and there is quite a bit that would be
explainable, but when things like this happen, its still creepy
as all get out.
?
Like a ship with an emergency beacon going off, as well as a
message (a plea for help) that repeats, but never word for word,
spurring the PCs to investigate & expect to find at least one
survivor. After exploring the entire ship in distress, no
survivors are found, but the mysterious message transmission
stops. No recordings are found, nor are any found to have been
erased since the PCs last heard the message...
?
When the PCs finally give up & leave the ship for their own,
they hear another message from the ship in distress, but where
did it really come from?
?
These would've been good ideas for a Halloween session!
