  Some cyberpunk games proclaim that vectored thrust aircraft are more 
efficient than fixed or rotary wing aviation. That seems unlikely, but 
sometimes style goes over substance ...
  The VIP variant of the Medium Tilt-Jet seats only five passengers and 
an extra flight attendant. The free volume is used for more comfortable 
seats, a galley, a tiny toilet and enlarged fuel tanks. The extra range 
can be useful, but more often the fuel is used to sustain top speed on 
short hops. 
  The turbofans burn 80 gallons of jet fuel per hour of routine use. A 
load of fuel is $1,800.

Subassemblies: Body +4, three retractable Wheels +0, two Wings +2, two 
  Pods +1. 
Powertrain: Two 4,000-lb. vectored, afterburning, super turbofans;
  24,000-kWs advanced battery.
Fuel: 600 gallons jet fuel (fire 10).
Occ: 2 NCS, 1 RCS, 5 RS.   Cargo: 5 cf.

fire suppression system; 6-man luxury interior; cramped toilet; small

Design Notes
  Body is 600 cf, with very good streamlining. Wheels are 30 cf, retract 
into body. Wings are 48 cf each. Pods are 12 cf each. Structure is 
medium and expensive. Armor is expensive metal. Self-sealing tanks. 
Sealed structure. Computerized controls with duplicate maneuver 
controls. There are 54.03 cf of empty space in the body and 2.55 cf of 
empty space in each wing. Empty weight is 6,400 lbs.
  The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third 
printing, Dec 2004 errata], Vehicles Lite, VXi and VXii (including the 
armor volume and ceiling rules) with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
