This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. My site is down for rebuilding, but sooner or
later the old stuff should reappear at omeyer.gmxhome.de

IISS Covert Observation G-Carrier v1.0 (GURPS Traveller TL10-12)
Copyright 2008 by Onno Meyer
In addition to survey and first contact, the IISS is charged with the
covert surveillance of planets beyond the borders of the Imperium. Most
deep cover observers bring nothing but an open mind and a few memorized
recognition codes, but there are times when specialized equipment is
worth the risk.
The Covert Observation G-Carrier started out as a standard commercial
model, purchased in the border worlds. The avionics were ripped out and
replaced by disguised state-of-the-art systems - a wideband radscanner,
specialized systems to listen to computer and radio communications, and
high-end computers to make sense of it all. The transponder and ID tags
were replaced by reprogrammable models to change the identity at the
flick of a button.
The G-Carrier could probably pass a safety or customs inspection, but
a full forensics check will reveal the modifications ...
