  The Security Branch of the Interstellar Scout Service is responsible 
for hostage rescue operations after failed first contact attempts, and 
for law enforcement with regard to smuggling and protected cultures.
  The open Security Air/Raft is designed for the rapid deployment of a 
commando squad. Superdense steel protects the belly and lower sides of 
the air/raft while the top remains open for easy access. The avionics 
and stealth systems in the vehicle complement those in the body armor 
of the troopers, who can use small arms and helmet electronics while 
seated.

Powertrain: Four 2,500-lb. vectored super reactionless thrusters; two 
  20,000-lb. contragrav units; 600-kW NPU; 540,000-kWs rechargeable E 
  power cell.

Design Notes
  Body is 250 cf, with fair streamlining and underbelly skids. Structure 
is extra-heavy, standard. Armor is advanced metal. Sealed. Computerized 
controls with duplicate maneuver controls. There are 8.8265 cf of empty 
space. Empty weight is 10,000 lbs.
  The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third 
printing, Dec 2004 errata], Traveller, VXi and VXii (including the armor 
volume rule) with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
