You're right that the power cell is below the resolution 
of the rules. A half-sized energy bank module (the smallest 
one in the rules) would last for some 30 years, powering 
only the computers and radio receivers.

IIRC compact is a bridge option, and a light cockpit has
worse sensors. So there is a little room for maintenance
crews.

maybe nickel-irony).
