[gurps] Multiple attacks questions

Hi all,

I have been going through the multi-attack section of Martial Arts (MA
4th ed pg126,127).

Trying to workout what it means for a character I have, and what he
can/can't do.

The character has Ambidexterity, so first step is to drop all the -4
off-hand stuff.

His two skills of interest are Shortsword (18) and Broadsword (17).

Ok, the basic stuff, which I believe I understand...

On a regular attack he can do ONE of the following options...
1: Regular attack with either the short or the broad sword at that
weapons base skill (ss18 or bs17), but not with both weapons;

2: Dual attack with both the short and broad swords at -4 to both their
skills (ss14 and bs13)

3: Rapid strike at -6 on both attacks with ONE of the weapons (two ss12s
or two bs11s)

So i believe I have that stuff correct, regular attack with one weapon,
dual attack with both weapons at -4 to each attack, or rapid strike with
one weapon with -6 to both strikes...

Now the tricky part I don't really understand, full attack (extra attack)

== dual strike==
If he chooses to full attack (extra attack), does option 2 from above
give him 4 attacks, two with each weapon, or three attacks, two with one
weapon and one with the other?

If it gives four attacks, would his attacks be ss12, bs11, ss12, bs11

if he was only allowed three attacks, would that be ss12, bs11, and then
either ss18 OR bs17?

== rapid strike==
If he was to do a full attack (extra attack) when using rapid strike,
would he get three or four strikes with that weapon,

if four i assume it would be four strikes at ss12 OR bs11

if it was three attacks, would it be ss12, ss12, ss18 OR ss12, ss12,
ss12 (if using the shortsword for the attack)?

And finally, this will probably never be an issue, but if his skills
were a LOT higher, like maybe ss25, bs24, could he do dual weild AND
rapid strike at the same time (ie penalties of -4 for dual wield and -6
for rapid strike, giving him -10 per attack)?

That last question is really out there as I don't think he will ever
approach that skill level, but the other questions about ful attacking
when you are either dual weilding or rapid striking are what I am trying
to work out.

Personally I think they are only going to give me ONE extra attack, but
my GM kind of thinks it would give two extra attacks, so we are just
trying to get other peoples understanding/interpretations of the rules.

Normally these questions haven't been an issue for me as I don't do a
lot of full attacks, but I am now playing a berserker, so all of a
sudden I am doing a lot of them and need to work out what my options for
my (probably short lived) character are

Cheers
