[gurps] Double Knockback

How do people feel about multiple applications of double knockback (BS p104) to a power? Can anyone think of a reason (rules-wise) this wouldn't be allowed?

I'm thinking a wave of force intended for pushing things. Think psychic wave or something.

And would it be x2 knockback with one level, x3 with two levels, etc? or x2, x4, x8, which is ridiculous?
