I was thinking of bounty hunters. For an Anime, it doesn't have to
make sense ...

According to Vehicles, the crush depth depends on the DR and the
hull shape and size. A proper military craft is almost certainly
tougher ...

Proper radiation shielding for the entire craft would have forced
me to sacrifice stealth (to stay within my mass budget, that is).
So the poor guy needs a decent spacesuit, even within the craft.
