most secure place in the castle, behind 5-10 metres of stone. overseen by a
competent quartermaster. I may use the spy in a low key roll (just
information gathering) and an unrelated murder might leed to his discovery.

food is 80 oxen, chickens, 140 horses,
watercress (with a side order of liverfuke)
wine for water and beer.
1 million odd pounds of rations fit for a professional army that is winning
a war (i.e the other side) dried fruit, grain, hard tack, salted and smoked
meat stored in fat.
10000 pounds of badly smoked cod (their rations)

the castle has a yard but is likely to be the first part of the castle to
fall. enemy artillery includes "wildfire" a semi magical flaming oil.

pc sub commander is an excellent leader

castle is based on the castle Di Sarzanello.

other that holds the keep.
