GURPS online options... was Re: [gurps] Hello?

Noticed Brandon mentioned this, and further up the messages Bryan 
mentions an interest in PBEM (play by email).

I would (also) be interested in any experience/advise people have on the 
different options of playing GURPS on line via different methods.

In the past I played GURPS for a while via IRC, wasn't two bad though 
different typing speeds (fast players, slow GM) made it a little odd, as 
the GM was having problems keeping up.

I guess I'm especially curious at the moment as one of the players in 
our group is on holiday, so I don't have a session for the next few weeks :(
