I am still exclusively GMing/playing GURPS 3e with lots of houserules -
I have mined 4e for some ideas which have worked out as houserules, but
full scale change into 4e does not seem likely for already complete
3e scifi campaign settings with lots of unique weapons, vehicles
and other stats which would have to be completely reworked for 4e,
taking up too much valuable time which would be better spent creating
even more 3e resources. I have something like two game sessions per
week, sometimes even more.
Currently I am gamemastering a 'GURPS Space Vikings - Freelancers of
the Frontier' homebrew campaign set in the far future of 13120AD, in
the neighboring Sagittarius Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy, my SV setting is
TL10-11 with some superscience elements like fast FTL hyperdrives,
reactionless thrusters and force screens.. Current player characters
started out at 150 points about half a year ago, and are now around
the 200-300 points power level. Player characters are still flying
a salvaged rustbucket of a starship they ironically named
'Equilibrium', trying to refit it with less failure prone parts
piece by piece all the while trying to make a profit and surviving
literally cutthroat competition in very lawless areas of space..
Also, I am playing a 100 point mechanic operative in
a 'GURPS SLA Industries' 3e conversion campaign of another GM. the SLA
Industries setting can be surprisingly good for gameplay, once one
replaces the more or less unplausible/confusing original rules
with GURPS.
On hiatus I have a GURPS Fallout campaign, which I will propably
pick up again in the near future. Another campaign still on my
drawing board is GURPS Autoduel 2056AD, might start that in the
near future as well. Blowing up cars never gets too old.. ;)
..Jon Lang mentioned GURPS Rifts. I GM:ed a short 1000pts GURPS Rifts
minicampaign back in the 1990s. Dunno about any semblance of campaign
balance between those player characters, and the conversion was very
hastily made, but at least everyone (except some of the NPCs) had fun..
(Mostly because of that old little GURPS Rifts experiment, more
recently I added the 'Juicer' template into my Space Vikings game.
Juicers kick ass.)

Down on the floor and eat the grit, this is gonna hurt a little bit.
Heads I win, tails you lose. Out of my way I'm coming through.
Roll the dice, don't think twice, and we crush, crush 'em.."
