200 miles is well past the distance to the horizon. Anything anywhere
near that far has to be flying high to be within line-of-sight anyway,
so I don't think increasing the laser's range will really offer any
benefit. :)

Done. To keep within the volume limits, the main battery is thus
reduced to 309,091 kJ, reducing endurance to 1 D 1 H 33 S.

With INS to establish the position within "1 yard per 1,000 miles", I
think it's safe to assume that even just it looking around will be
enough to pinpoint the robot's position as precisely as needed. Plus,
it doesn't have to rely on jammable GPS radio signals.
