[gurps] [ADMIN] Request for technical assistance

Does anyone here know the ins and outs of Mailman?  I'm trying to find
a way to insert the e-mail archives currently stored at
"http://www.gurpsnet.org/Digests" into the mailing list archive
currently found at "http://mail.sjgames.com/pipermail/gurpsnet-l".
Alternatively, I'd be interested in advice on other email archive
tools; I'm looking for something that's web-based, easy to install and
maintain, and able to be back-filled with the old archives.

Likewise, I'm looking for a similar package to provide a more useful
web interface for "http://www.gurpsnet.org/Archives".  At a minimum, I
want something with file upload capabilities, so that members of the
list can contribute to the file archive without me having to confirm
each and every submission.  (Part of the reason why VotW is no longer
being kept up to date has been that the gruntwork involved in doing so
lead to untenable delays.)  Also useful would be search capabilities.

Finally, a heads-up: once I can get the above issues resolved
(primarily the first one), I'm looking at moving the list to a new
address.  I already have a Mailman list set up for the purpose
(list at gurpsnet.org); but I don't want to transfer anything over to
there until I can get the archives issue resolved.  I remember the
chaos of 2003's abrupt transferral to the current list, and do not
want a repeat performance.
