Only for very rough landscaping. There are plenty of roles for big
vehicles.

Not the Traveller style. Otherwise it is a 'possible' - at TL8, do
you want a semi-autonomous, nuclear-powered vehicle? And even with
remote control I'd leave the cockpit and give it overrides.
