Yeah, unfortunately the party line is that DR limited to one source is the standard for making beings invulnerable to certain effects. In addition, this is typically meant to render someone invulnerable to "normal" fire and heat attacks which seem to cap out at a certain level. I've used Insubstantial, Only Vs. Fire/Heat before to get around this problem. Another alternative could be levels of Absorption, Only Verses Fire/Heat.
