[gurps] 4e, Fire Resistance

Hi all, lovely frost here, hope you're warmer where you are.

I want Fire-resistance as a advantage, for a fire creature as a 
pet/familiar.

I am trying to work out what gives you the same fire-resistance as the 
first level of the spell.

Looking at the fire-element, and the meta body of flames, I can only see 
  DR 10, limit Fire/Heat.

Is this all that is necessary?  can a fire element/body of fire really 
be hurt by a fire spell which does more than 10 points of damage?

I just figured there would be an advantage, but can only see temepture 
torelance, which I don't think is what i'm really after.
