I used to watch the show a lot as well and while I can't think of any
specific examples I seem to remember Lion-O doing things like lifting
boulders, etc. Nothing really Comic book like, but still superhuman.

Now that I think about it, Lion-O did throw Mumm-Ra's Stone Sarcophagus
across the room into a pool of acid or something in the episode where he
had to prove himself worthy to be Lord of the Thundercats.
