A tulpa is a crystalized mind of a tulpamaster. The tulpa can take any form the tulpamaster can imagine, but will have a "plastic" appearance (like the Toons in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"). It will have the stats of the tulpamaster and his memories, but no psionic or magical abilities. The tulpa is indestructible, even by the tulpamaster, short of such things as hitting a black hole singularity, the cosmological Big Rip, a critical success with a Great Wish in a Very High Mana region, a gestalt of trillions of minds, etc.(no, Judge Doom's Dip won't work :-)) The tulpa will be a willing slave of the tulpamaster as long as the tulpamaster lives, then will suffer a shock (like seeing your parents die suddenly and horribly) and will gain free will. Only one in a million people have the ability to become a tulpamaster (several in a million if you have Tibetan ancestry). The creation of a tulpa is very fatigueing, like cramming all night for an exam in Quantum Mechanics.
The is a weird parellel where tulpas exist. The first ones to reach Western Civilization arrived inn the 1600s. Any speculation on how this will affect the culture of Europe. BTW, Holy Water only makes them wet (this is the 17th Century, remember). Will Christianity be strengthened by the appearance of paranormal beings, or weakened by its inability to exorcise them?
Also, what kind of point cost would a tulpamaster have?
