Any particular reason for this?  I know this is based on the movie-version, 
so if you could point to a specific scene?

Once again, I don't recall him using anything like this.... maybe just high 
levels in Public Speaking skill?

I just don't see the movie-version of Arwen as a dependent.... especially 
after the ride bearing Frodo to Rivendell (Rivendale? sp?)

well.... A damn good rider, if she could out-ride the nine.  Plus more 
levels of appearance/charisma than Aragorn... ;)
