I'm not sure I understand your question.

I know that Daishō is a pair of swords. My character will own a
Daishō and I'm wondering if it's culturally appropriate to name
the set, and/or the individual swords.

I'm also looking for suggestions for naming them if it is appropriate,
and translations to Japanese (in romanji because I sadly can't read
anything else)
