Hey Kurt

The thermal gadget was sort of a slim hope, I had mostly been trying to
find something like the gadget that Chris & Coyt mentioned, that sort of
flexible periscope gadget. I knew I'd seen one, Harbor Freight must have
been where, I get their catalog all the time. Anyway, wound up not being
needed. After punching several large holes in my ceiling, I found that
either she'd never been there at all, or had climbed from there up into
the attic. I actually think she climbed, or at least that's what I'm
telling myself so I don't feel like a total ass for destroying my walls
& ceiling. I found lots of fresh scratches that look like they were made
by a ferret shimmying her way upwards. Long story short, I found her
bounding around the attic at 5am. So, all's well that ends well and so
on. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Now I've got to patch the hole
that started this problem, and the ones that resulted from it. Oh joy.

Thanks again,
