[gurps] Regeneration and Soul Stone

Question,

The characters in my game just took down a very powerful creature who's
Soul is hidden away using the Soul Stone spell. The creature regenerates
like crazy (I am using a rule where regeneration = 1/5 of HT and the
creature had a 75 HT). The characters were pretty thorough in destroying
it though. (They cut off its head, then burned it using a 6d6 Flame Jet
for a good 10 mins).

Would this creature continue to regenerate after such destruction? What
I mean is, would its body eventually regenerate out of the ashes, or
will it be forced into finding a new body?

Another things I am wondering about is this; the creature had become
very powerful through a version of the Steal Attribute spell, (The
creatures stats before it was defeated were; ST: 80, IQ: 25, DX 25, HT:
75).

If it was forced into a new body would it retain these attributes or
would they be lost along with the new body?
