  Raider Two is a modified AT4 Quad Cycle. It was used by the rebels (or 
the bandits, depending on your viewpoint) on the Federation world Zircon 
in 1120. Fuel shortages and the fear of orbital sensors limited the use 
of the Raiders to the most critical operations.
  The rear passenger seat of the quad was turned backwards and a firing 
post for a 90mm recoilless rifle was welded to the socket of the towing 
hitch. The driver must dismount if the weapon fires to the rear and the 
gunner must dismount for shots to the right or left, but the recoilless 
rifle is best used from a stopped vehicle anyway. The powerful headlight 
was replaced by a much more modest light with a blackout cover.
  At routine travel speed, the engine burns 0.9 gallons of heavy biofuel 
or 0.45 gallons of diesel per hour. A full load of biofuel and HEAT ammo 
is $92.5.

Design Notes
  Cheaply made. Body is 12 cf. Wheels are 12 cf (increased volume). Open 
Mount is 1.6 cf. Structure is extra-light and standard. Armor is 
expensive metal. Waterproofed. Mechanical controls. 6.205 cf of empty 
space. Five rounds of 90mm HEAT are stowed in the body. Empty weight is 
420 lbs.

  Note that the gunner is carried in a passenger seat. This causes the
problems with firing on the move. The vehicle uses the design rules from 
Vehicles [2nd edition, 3rd printing, Dec 2004 errata], VXi and VXii 
(including the armor volume rule) with the text format from Vehicles 
Lite. The weapon is TL6, all other components are TL8. The Traveller 
rules affect the background but not the technology of this design.
