I don't think that it is a matter of "House Rules" here. As David
Scheidt stated in his contribution earlier, it is more a matter of
Physics; even with the most advanced technology you can't get a
DISPLACEMENT boat faster than the maximum speed that is dictated by its
length.

Kurt mentioned in his mail his fellow's former RumRunner from the
30'ties that was even faster - but I will bet that this is a glider.

And the WWII DDs were faster because they were LONGER!

I appreciate Onno's work on the Vehicle of the Week very much and I
would like to say him "Thank you!" here.

Nevertheless it must be allowed to say if one of the rules in Vehicles
he used will break the laws of Physics. It is  up to him  to adjust the
design of the vehicle accordingly or not. And next, it is always up to
the GM that will use one of Onno's vehicles to adjust them according to
their Campaign needs.

In this special case I think it would make sense to have a short notice
with the Yacht's design about the maximum speed according to the Laws of
Physics compared with that according to Vehicles rules.
