It's no secret that I love me some d20, GURPS, Ars Magica, Hero System, OSRIC, and other long-established rules mechanics. But I have to admit that, house-ruling fiend that I am, new rules systems tug my poor little heart strings like nothing else.

Daemornia ( http://e23.sjgames.com/item.html?id=DM001 ) (by Daemornia Studios ( http://e23.sjgames.com/credits.html?t=publisher&n=Daemornia%20Studios ) ) manages a little of both, with recognizable elements (my first thought on reading it was Gamma World + In Nomine for the win) and new twists. And since it's reasonably adaptable to almost any post-apocalyptic campaign setting, my house-ruling inner id gets to play, too.

I haven't gotten to play it yet, though. It's over 200 pages, and I'm still reading through it.
